I’d be interested in looking at stats around the demand for real-time collaboration within WordPress. Certainly, I can see the need in the enterprise where you have clear teams within an organisational structure; sales, marketing, HR etc. But is that the majority of WordPress users? Will this collaboration benefit 90% of the WordPress users or just the top VIP 10%?

I can see the use of software such as Atarim that allows designers/developers to exchange comments with clients, being built into the core, but that’s not real-time collab. Maybe that could be the first step to benefit a larger audience?

I welcome work on the media library and the overall UI, which still needs much work since the blocks and FSE introduction.

I’m not sold on the need for real-time collaboration built into the core. Happy to be proven different.
